Skopje, 6 November 2024 (MIA) – Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi congratulated Donald Trump on winning the US presidential election.

Writing on Facebook, Gashi said this crucial moment has reflected the power of the American democracy.

“North Macedonia has been and will remain a strong ally of the developing and stabilisation policies of the United States. The unwavering commitment of the US to security, prosperity and Euro-Atlantic integration of North Macedonia has been and will remain one of the key pillars of our foreign policy and a constant source of support,” said the Speaker.  

Wishing Trump success in running the country, Gashi expressed his country’s full commitment to enhancing cooperation with the new American administration and the countries’ strategic partnership.
