Skopje, 17 March 2025 (MIA) - Our hearts are broken and I am thankful to countries in the region for the assistance they immediately provided, said United States Ambassador Angela Aggeler after signing the book of condolences in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade on Monday.

"We have offered our support but we are far away, so I am thankful to the countries in the region for their swift response in offering assistance, taking in some of the injured," said Ambassador Aggeler.

World Health Organization (WHO) country representative Akeem Ali extended condolences to the nation, to the communities and families mourning the ones they lost, while praying for the speedy recovery of those injured.

"WHO is at disposal for the country to swiftly and efficiently receive the required support and care for the people that need it," said Ali.
