Trajkov: Hungary provides continuous support on country's EU path

Skopje, 4 March 2025 (MIA) — Deputy Minister of European Affairs and Deputy Chief Negotiator with the EU Viktorija Trajkov met with Hungarian Minister for European Union Affairs János Bóka for talks on strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanging expertise on EU integration.
According to an official press release, the meeting was held as part of Trajkov's working visit to Hungary, where she took part in the Hungarian-Macedonian intergovernmental summit in Budapest.
At the meeting with her Hungarian counterpart, Trajkov highlighted Hungary's continuous support for the country on its path to the EU. She thanked Bóka for the help the country has received from Hungary, which she said had opened up new opportunities for the country's development.
Meeting participants expressed readiness to deepen cooperation between the two countries in several areas, which should accelerate the country's reforms and facilitate its accession to the EU.
The Hungarian EU minister said Hungary would continue to provide support in these processes so the country could become an EU member state as soon as possible, the release said. mr/
