Seven patients hospitalized in Spain in stable condition: embassy

Skopje, 21 March 2025 (MIA) - All seven patients injured in the Kochani nightclub fire who were transported for treatment in Spain are in stable condition, the Embassy of Spain told MIA.

The patients arrived yesterday, the preliminary checks have been carried out, they are in stable condition and the treatment process has begun, says the Embassy.

In addition, the Embassy shares the information that King Felipe VI of Spain has extended condolences to President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.

"It was with deep sorrow that I learned about the tragic incident that occurred as a result of a fire during a concert in the Pulse nightclub in Kochani, which claimed the lives of 59 people and injured dozens of others. On my personal behalf and in the name of the Government and the people of Spain, I extend my deepest condolences and express full solidarity with the people of North Macedonia. Together with the Queen, we are extending our support to the victims' families and wish the injured a speedy recovery," reads the note.

The seven patients are treated in La Paz and Getafe, internationally certified centers for burn patients.
