Skopje, 23 January 2025 (MIA) – All procedures involving the line of credit from the Hungarian loan, intended for businesses, are expected to be completed at a government session, due next week.
Government spokeswoman Marija Miteva said the line of credit should become operational by late January, according to government announcements.
“The government has said that it is expected the line of credit from the Hungarian loan, intended for businesses, to be operational by late January, which is next week. I expect the government at a session next week to complete the procedures in order to enable the companies to use these finances,” Miteva said at a news conference Thursday.
The line of credit for businesses is part of the Hungarian loan in amount of half a billion euros. The government signed a Loan Facility Agreement with Hungary’s Export- Import Bank in Budapest in October last year. Half of these finances are intended for companies and the other half for municipalities.
