Parliament to accept resignations of Bislimovski and Ristovska, elect new constitutional justice at Wednesday session
Skopje, 13 February 2026 (MIA) — At its plenary session scheduled for Wednesday, Parliament is expected to accept the resignations of Energy Regulatory Commission president Marko Bislimovski and State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption member Cveta Ristovska, sources familiar told MIA.
The procedure for filling the vacant posts of a new ERC head and anti-corruption watchdog member will begin immediately afterward, led by the Committee for Election and Appointment Issues.
The agenda of the session also includes electing a new constitutional justice.
At the last session of the Committee for Election and Appointment Issues, Goce Naumovski was tapped as a new constitutional justice, after constitutional justice Jadranka Dabovikj Anastasovska resigned for health reasons in December. mr/
