Skopje, 13 February 2026 (MIA) - According to data from the State Statistical Office, the total turnover in industry increased by 10.3% in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024.

The turnover in industry, total, in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024, by Main Industrial Groupings, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 9.8%, Capital goods by 20.2% and Non-durable consumer goods by 2.7%, but lower in Durable consumer goods by 13.2%.

The divisions that contributed the most to the increased in total turnover in industry in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024, were: Manufacture of food products with 6.1%; Manufacture of basic metals with 5.9%; Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. with 29.3%.

The turnover in industry, total, in December 2025, in comparison with November 2025, decreased by 3.1%, while in the period January – December 2025, in comparison with January – December 2024, the turnover in industry, total, increased by 5.6%.

The turnover in industry on the domestic market in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024, increased by 6.9%, while in the period January – December 2025, in comparison with January – December 2024, the turnover in industry on the domestic market increased by 0.6%.

The turnover in industry on the non-domestic market in December 2025, in comparison with December 2024, increased by 11.4%, while in the period January –December 2025, in comparison with January – December 2024, the turnover in industry on the non-domestic market increased by 6.8%.
