Skopje, 19 March 2025 (MIA) – As of earlier Wednesday, 119 close relatives of the injured in the March 16 fire in Kochani have been provided transportation and accommodation in the cities where their family members are hospitalized, government spokeswoman Marija Miteva told a news conference Wednesday afternoon.
Miteva said the number was expected to increase given that more burn patients had been flown out of the country for medical care abroad.
"As of an hour ago, the latest information I have is that 119 people have been safely transported and accommodated," she said.
She said the accommodation provided to them was near the hospitals where the injured were receiving treatment.
The government announced Tuesday it would allocate Mden 30 million for the transport and accommodation of the relatives of the burn patients receiving medical care abroad. mr/
