Minister Toshkovski meets Austrian Ambassador Pammer
- Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski met Tuesday with Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer, discussing the excellent cooperation between the two countries and interior ministries, joint commitment to regional and global security, fight against migrant smuggling and illegal migration, fight against terrorism and cyber-crime, as one of the key priorities.
Skopje, 19 November 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski met Tuesday with Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer, discussing the excellent cooperation between the two countries and interior ministries, joint commitment to regional and global security, fight against migrant smuggling and illegal migration, fight against terrorism and cyber-crime, as one of the key priorities.
According to the Interior Ministry's press release, talks also focused on the cooperation with Frontex at our southern border, which includes Austrian police officers.
Ambassador Pammer reaffirmed Austria's support for country's EU integration and reforms in the fight against crime and corruption.
The meeting also introduced the new liaison officer at the Embassy of the Republic of Austria based in Skopje, Attaché Klaus Gruber, replacing outgoing liaison officer Attaché Manfred Jurcevic’s two year mandate. ssh/ba/
