Mickoski: May Christmas grant us renewed strength to work together, create great things

Skopje, 7 January 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski extended greetings to HH Stefan the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, the members of the Holy Synod, the clergy, and the citizens celebrating Christmas on Tuesday.

“The birth of the Savior of the world is a symbol of love, mercy and sacrifice for the good of humankind. This holy day reminds us of the real values – faith, hope and love, which should guide us in our daily lives. Christmas also urges solidarity; to help one another and share the joy with those around us,” Mickoski wrote in his greeting.

At a time of numerous challenges, Mickoski stressed, the holidays remind us to think of unity as the strongest foundation for a better future.

“May Christmas be a reminder that through faith, labor and mutual understanding, we can create a society filled with peace, justice and progress. May Christmas grant us renewed strength to work together and to create great things for the good of all citizens, nurturing tradition and spirituality as the foundations of our society. I wish that we will all be able to observe this holiday in spiritual peace, with joy in our hearts, together with our families and our close ones. May the mercy of Christmas guide us through life, bringing prosperity, health and success in each of our steps,” Mickoski said in his Christmas greeting.
