Idrizovo inmates caught trying to smuggle money, mobile phones into jail

Skopje, 22 February 2025 (MIA) — The Skopje Police Department received Friday at 8 pm a report from Idrizovo prison that, during a search of inmates N.A., H.A., L.I. and J.P. before entering the facility, money and mobile phones were found on their persons.

According to the Ministry of Interior, prison police also performed a search of the car in which the inmates arrived. They found marijuana and a mobile phone in the vehicle.

An investigation is ongoing. mr/
