Athens, 7 February 2025 (MIA) — The two officials exchanged views on ways to further improve cooperation on EU affairs, wrote the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the X platform after Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandra Papadopoulou hosted Minister for European Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia Orhan Murtezani earlier on Friday.

According to MIA's Athens correspondent citing an official press release, the meeting "reaffirmed the common commitment to improving good neighborly relations and deepening cooperation in key areas of mutual interest". 

Meeting participants mostly spoke about North Macedonia's EU integration and the EU's Growth Plan for the Western Balkans. 

"They examined possiblities of Greek technical assistance to the Republic of North Macedonia in the framework of its way towards the EU," the MFA's post on X said. mr/
