Skopje, 25 October 2024 (MIA) - The meeting of the Joint Multidisciplinary Commission of Experts in Historical and Education Issues between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria, which was held in Skopje on Thursday and Friday, took place in a positive spirit and a constructive atmosphere with a dynamic and open discussion on issues from the scope of the commission's work, said the history commission with Bulgaria. 

"The meeting discussed the principles of work, as well as protocol and procedural and technical issues related to the commission's work. The commission also worked on harmonizing the Minutes from the previous meetings, and touched on the recommendations for seventh-grade Macedonian textbooks," reads the press release from the Macedonian co-chair of the commission, professor Vancho Gjorgjiev. 

The next meeting of the commission will be held by the end of the year in Sofia.
