'Forms in Flight: International Artists in French Collections' art show opens at MOCA

Skopje, 8 April 2025 (MIA) — An exhibition showcasing works by contemporary artists from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lyon will open at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje. Titled "Forms in Flight: International Artists in French Collections," the art show will run through May 8.
Paintings by Jasmina Cibic, Danielle Vallet Kleiner and Ange Leccia will be shown for the very first time, organizers said, highlighting the importance of cultural exchange.
Also on display will be works from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje, including art by Carlos Cruz-Diez, Hisao Domoto, Ana-Eva Bergman, Piotr Kowalski, Zoran Mušić, Virgilije Nevjestić, Enrique Peysere and other artists who painted in Paris after World War II.
The exhibition is organized by the French Institute in Skopje and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje in cooperation with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lyon and the City of Lyon. mr/
