Skopje, 17 January 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Friday with Member of European Parliament (MEP) and Joint Parliamentary Committee EU-North Macedonia chair Karlo Ressler, discussing the country's Euro-integration progress, future steps in the process and possibilities for strengthened cooperation.

FM Mucunski reaffirmed the Government's firm commitment to make progress on the European path, ensuring a stable reform process in key areas, enhancing economic capacities and improving the citizens' standard of life, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

Mucunski also referred to goodneighborly relations and reaffirmed the commitment for their permanent advancement based on the principles of mutual respect and trust.

Interlocutors emphasized the significance of maintaining a constructive dialogue with the European Parliament at all levels and promoting their mutual interests. The FM thanked the MEP for the excellent cooperation and the continued vocal support of the EP to the country's Euro-integration, while expecting that specific progress will be achieved on the EU path through joint efforts, reads the press release.
