Skopje, 6 February 2025 (MIA) - A pre-trial judge from the Skopje-based Criminal Court has ordered a 30-day detention for the former director of the Government's General Affairs Department, Pece Mircheski.

The judge ordered the measure due to flight risk and influencing on witnesses.

The second suspect in the case has had his passport seized and is under house arrest.

Mircheski is suspected of taking bribes, embezzlement and negligence in service, whereas the owner and manager of a legal entity is suspected of giving bribes.
