Skopje, 4 January 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi in a letter congratulated Mike Johnson on his re-election as speaker of the US House of Representatives.

Johnson's leadership is vital not only for American democracy, but also for enhancing cooperation between the Parliament of North Macedonia and the US House of Representatives, says Gashi's letter.

"I'm confident our cooperation will expand in improving democratic values, which is why I wish him successful term hoping he will contiunue to support stability and development of international relations all the while enhancing our countries' ties," says Gashi.
