Skopje, 30 March 2025 (MIA) – President Gordana Siljanovska – Davkova on the occasion of the Muslim holiday of Ramadan Bayram sent a greeting to Islamic believers in the country and to the head of the Islamic Religious Community, Reis-ul-Ulema Shaqir Fetai.

“I wholeheartedly wish you harmony and well-being for this festive holiday, filled with joy and happiness, sharing love and attention with the loved ones. This year, during the holy month of Ramadan, during the month of fasting, prayer and forgiveness, we were hit by an unimaginable tragedy that shocked the community and us, as individuals. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and the injured. Regardless of religious, ethnic or any other origin, we are all in solidarity grieving together,” said Siljanovska – Davkova. 

We are faced with numerous challenges, she continued.

“May we be united as a community, as a society and as a country. Together, we can overcome every hardship and problem. With pure thought and open heart for all our citizens, let us make our country prosperous and dignified, a country of happy citizens,” the President concluded.
