Parliament’s Finances and Budget Committee resumes amendment debate on budget revision

Parliament’s Finances and Budget Committee will resume Monday the amendment debate on the 2024 Budget revision. Total revenues in the Budget revision are planned at 318.2 billion denars, while expenditures are set at 362.8 billion denars. GDP growth is projected at 2.1 percent, inflation at 3.5 percent, and the budget deficit at 4.9 percent.

Parliament’s Finances and Budget Committee resumes amendment debate on budget revision

Skopje, 5 August 2024 (MIA) - Parliament’s Finances and Budget Committee will resume Monday the amendment debate on the 2024 Budget revision.
Total revenues in the Budget revision are planned at 318.2 billion denars, while expenditures are set at 362.8 billion denars. GDP growth is projected at 2.1 percent, inflation at 3.5 percent, and the budget deficit at 4.9 percent.

In accordance with the Rules of Procedure, the amendment debate, which has been taking place for five days, is expected to finish in six days. Fifty-eight amendments were submitted for the budget revision, however during the debate some of the proposed amendments were withdrawn.

None of the amendments have been approved so far.
