Skopje, 28 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, met with the Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister for External Affairs of the Republic of India, on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly.

“The interlocutors discussed the enhancement of bilateral relations, with a particular focus on intensifying economic cooperation and increasing trade exchange between the two countries. The possibilities for deepening business ties in various sectors were reviewed,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

Moreover, the ministers discussed the importance of multilateral cooperation, confirming their mutual support for the constructive roles that both countries play on the global stage.

“The meeting between Ministers Mucunski and Jaishankar established the foundations for enhancing bilateral relations and created new opportunities for collaboration in different fields of shared interest,” reads the press release.
