MoH: 38 burn patients still treated abroad as five return home from Serbia
- The Ministry of Health said five patients who were injured in the Kochani nightclub fire are returning to the country on Wednesday after receiving treatment in Serbia. In line with protocols, three of the patients will be kept under observation at the Pulmonology Clinic, one patient at the Plastic Surgery Clinic, and one at the "St. Naum Ohridski" hospital.

Skopje, 23 April 2025 (MIA) - The Ministry of Health said five patients who were injured in the Kochani nightclub fire are returning to the country on Wednesday after receiving treatment in Serbia. In line with protocols, three of the patients will be kept under observation at the Pulmonology Clinic, one patient at the Plastic Surgery Clinic, and one at the "St. Naum Ohridski" hospital.
On Tuesday, one patient returned home after treatment in Croatia and is kept under observation at the Plastic Surgey Clinic. Currently, 38 burn patients remain hospitalized abroad.
"Seven patients are currently receiving treatment in the country, including 4 patients hospitalized at the "St. Naum Ohridski" hospital, one patient at the Plastic Surgery Clinic, and two patients at the Sistina private hospital," reads the press release.
The Health Ministry says it has been continuously monitoring the condition of burn patients so as to provide the best possible treatment and future rehabilitation.
The March 16 fire that broke out in the Pulse nightclub in Kochani killed 62 people and almost 200 were left injured.
