Minchev and Superti in Budva: Strengthening cooperation on reforms and EU integration

Skopje, 21 April 2026 (MIA) – Minister of Public Administration Goran Minchev held a bilateral meeting with Valentina Superti, Director for the Western Balkans at the Directorate General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST) at the European Commission, during the ministerial conference in Budva.

The meeting is a continuation of earlier talks held in Brussels, where interlocutors discussed further improvement of public administration reforms and the pace of their implementation, the Ministry of Public Administration said in a press release.

Minister Minchev underscored the strategic commitment of both the Ministry and the Government to developing an efficient, transparent, and professional public administration fully aligned with European standards and values.

Superti commended the progress achieved, underlining that the European Commission will continue to be a steadfast partner in supporting reform processes and the EU integration of the country.

“The meeting in Budva reaffirmed the joint commitment to strengthening the partnership and enhancing cooperation, aimed at the effective implementation of reforms and achieving country’s strategic goal of full EU membership,” reads the press release.
