Mickoski to focus on business cooperation in United Arab Emirates visit

Skopje, 14 April 2025 (MIA) — Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is leading a government delegation on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he was invited to meet with UAE President and Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
According to an official press release, Prime Minister Mickoski and the government delegation will also meet with UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of of the Emirate of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The delegation consists of Deputy PM and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Government Secretary General Igor Janushev, Free Zones Directorate head Goce Dimovski, National Coordinator for Tourism Akkan Mahmut and representatives of several state institutions.
During the visit, in addition to holding several meetings at the highest state level, they will meet with potential investors including representatives of the Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding wealth fund, the state-owned Mubala investment company, and the Masdar state-owned energy company.
They will also meet with members of several chambers of commerce for talks on potential cooperation in infrastructure projects, investments in agribusiness, renewable energy sources, tourism, innovations and modern technology. mr/
