Skopje, 2 December 2025 (MIA) — Minister of Economy and Labor Besar Durmishi took part in a panel at the Macedonian Embassy in Berlin dedicated to promoting foreign investments in the country, according to an official press release.

"Our goal is to build an economy that creates added value and offers investors clear, long-term conditions," Durmishi is quoted as saying in the release.

"Through the new financial support model beginning in 2026, the state will be rewarding quality investments, job creation, technology centers and projects contributing to regional development," he said.

The economy minister also said Germany remained one of North Macedonia's most important economic partners and confirmed the mutual vision of strengthening business ties, encouraging modern investments and creating new opportunities for economic growth.

He also thanked event organizers and the German business community for their continued support. Such gatherings, he said, helped build trust and promote new business partnerships.

The event was organized by the Germany-North Macedonia Business Club in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

Other speakers included Germany-North Macedonia Business Club president Gafar Vejseli, Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani and North Macedonia's Ambassador to Germany Ylber Sela. mr/
