Skopje, 3 February 2026 (MIA) - Conference "Strengthening the efficiency and independence of the judiciary in North Macedonia" will take place in Skopje on Tuesday, aimed at promoting judicial reforms and approximation to European standards.

The conference will focus on the concrete steps for improvement of the transparency, digitalization and optimization of the judicial network, part of the 2024-2028 Sectoral Development Strategy in Judiciary.

European Union Ambassador Michalis Rokas, Supreme Court President Afrim Fidani, Judicial Council President Aleksandar Kambovski and Justice Minister Igor Filkov are set to address the event.
