Skopje, 27 March 2026 (MIA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Friday with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Matthew Lawson, for talks on the countries’ strategic partnership and ways to improve relations between the two countries.

“We discussed concrete steps to enhance cooperation with an accent on areas of importance for the economic development, including infrastructure, education and healthcare, as well as other segments of mutual interest,” Mucunski said in a Facebook post. 

Talks, he added, also focused on the current dynamic of the bilateral relations with joint readiness for their further advancement being reaffirmed.

The interlocutors shared views on current geopolitical challenges, most importantly developments in the Middle East, said the post.
