Skopje, 18 January 2026 (MIA) — Members of the government convened Sunday to talk about the EU reform agenda, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said in a social media post.
"Today we held a meeting dedicated to the reform agenda, during which we discussed our current priorities, challenges and next steps for advancing the reform processes," the PM wrote on his Facebook page.
Mickoski said government members exchanged opinions and proposals aimed at a more efficient implementation and better coordination between all parties involved.

Earlier Sunday, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told reporters that his government's goal was to first do its homework related to the EU reform agenda and then let the EU decide whether it would "bilateralize" the country's accession process.
"Macedonia's European integration path is unavoidably linked to the will of 27 member states, one of which is Bulgaria. You know that we have a problem with them, but our goal is finish our homework, prepare, complete all open issues related to the reform agenda and close all the reforms we have planned to close," PM Mickoski said.
"After we do all that, then we will leave it to the 27 member states to decide whether they will bilateralize this process or whether it will be based on criteria that was set for all countries that have joined the EU," he said.
Through Jan. 23, Mickoski will attend World Economic Forum's annual gathering in Davos, Switzerland, held under the motto "In the Spirit of Dialogue". mr/
