DTIDZ presents investment opportunities before Hungarian business community

Skopje, 30 March 2026 (MIA) - Directorate for Technological-Industrial Development Zones (DTIDZ) CEO Goce Dimovski presented the investment potentials and opportunities that zones offer to foreign investors before the Hungarian business community, in the framework of a forum titled "Hungary - North Macedonia Business Cooperation Day" in Budapest on Monday.

Dimovski highlighted the favorable business environment, competitive investment conditions and active institutional support in the zones, noting that the state offers specific supporting mechanisms in all stages of the investment process. Focus was given to the potentials for further enhancement of the bilateral economic cooperation and the possibilities for realization of new investments, primarily in value added sectors, the DTIDZ said in a press release.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and Hungary's Minister of European Union Affairs János Bóka delivered the forum's opening remarks, stressing the importance of promoting economic cooperation and enhancing bilateral partnership.

A number of business meetings took place at the forum's sidelines, focusing on information exchange and initiating opportunities for future cooperation.

PM Mickoski is heading a Government delegation that also includes Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, Minister of Economy and Labour Besar Durmishi, Government Secretary General Igor Janushev, head of the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion, Refik Xhemaili, head of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Goce Dimovski, as well as head of the Agency for Innovation Activity, Scientific and Technological Development and Entrepreneurship, Daniela Dimovska.
