Skopje, 20 June 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski met Tuesday in Bucharest with Sophie Dewispelaere of the European Commission Directorate General for Informatics (DG Digit), who is in charge of defining, planning, coordinating, executing, managing and supporting the TESTA programme.

TESTA, which stands for Trans European Services for Telematics between Administrations, provides a European backbone network for data exchange between a wide variety of public administrations.

Minister Spasovski said North Macedonia has had the TESTA link since the signing of the agreement in 2020, managed by the Ministry of Information Society and Administration, whereas the Ministry of Interior's IT and Telecommunications Department provides technical support to the system.
