Skopje, 14 May 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Defence Vlado Misajlovski met Wednesday with the new UK Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Dame Karen Pierce, who was accompanied by Ambassador Matthew Lawson and Defence Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Edward John Green. 

"Congratulations to Dame Karen Pierce on her appointment to the post, which is proof that developing mutual allied cooperation is high on the United Kingdom's agenda. Gratitude for all the support to the Macedonian Army so far, which has significantly strengthened the ties between the two Armies and their members. We remain strongly committed to the defence cooperation that means a stronger Alliance and a safer region," Minister Misajlovski posted on Facebook.
