Skopje, 22 March 2024 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE coalition is set to expand with seven political parties formerly in coalition with SDSM, Antonio Miloshoski, MP and VMRO-DPMNE’s executive committee member told Sitel TV late on Friday.

"In two to three days, we expect a decision from yet another political party, which would mean a total of eight political parties,” Miloshoski said.

"This is a signal that the SDSM coalition is no longer attractive. And all these political parties that are joining, are coming with one common, I would say, statement - disappointment with the government because they believed that the state was being led in the wrong direction," said Miloshoski.

Social Democratic Union, United Party for the Full Emancipation of Roma, Macedonian Concept, Democratic Union, United for Macedonia, TMRO, and Dignity are the parties he mentioned to join the coalition of VMRO-DPMNE.

"The common factor with these parties is that there might have been mistakes from our side or theirs in the past, but now it is time for unity. The need for unity to advance Macedonia's interests towards becoming a better nation, where democracy, the economy, the rule of law, education, and healthcare will all attain higher standards," Miloshoski said.
