FM Mucunski meets Czech Minister of European Affairs Dvořák
- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Tuesday with Czech Minister of European Affairs Martin Dvořák and MPs, exchanging opinions over the challenges on the European path, while highlighting the country's commitment to the reform agenda and opening a new stage in the process towards reaching full-fledged EU membership.
Skopje, 6 November 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Tuesday with Czech Minister of European Affairs Martin Dvořák and MPs, exchanging opinions over the challenges on the European path, while highlighting the country's commitment to the reform agenda and opening a new stage in the process towards reaching full-fledged EU membership.
FM Mucunski also met with members of the Chamber of Deputies group for cooperation with the Parliament, referring to the significance of parliamentary diplomacy and its role in strengthening bilateral relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
Interlocutors shared their commitment for further enhancement of parliamentary cooperation and intensification of dialogue at all levels.
In addition, Mucunski delivered a lecture at the University of New York in Prague, highlighting the importance of sooner EU membership of regional countries and the Western Balkans' recent accomplishments.
The FM said it is necessary to have predictability in the EU enlargement process, since its duration and lack of consistency have a multilayered negative impact, including on the people's perceptions, reads the press release.
