Zaev in coordination meeting with leaders of coalition partners
Skopje, 1 November 2021 (MIA) – A coordination meeting is taking place in the Government between outgoing Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and leaders of parties that are part of the ruling coalition. The meeting will focus on a new prime minister and composition of a new government after Zaev resigned from the posts of PM and SDSM leader after the loss at Sunday’s local elections. Talks will also tackle the Parliament session on the PM’s resignation and the election of a new government. The SDSM-led coalition also includes Besa, NSDP, LDP, DOM, Demokratski Sojuz, VMRO-NP, Party of Pensioners, Serbian Party in Macedonia, Party for the Movement of Turks and the Democratic Party of Turks. The coalition holds 46 MP seats, and together with the 15 lawmakers of DUI and one of DPA, have 62 out of 120 seats in the Parliament.
