Skopje, 31 March 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Jovan Mitreski extended on Sunday Easter greetings to Bishop of Skopje and Eparch of Strumica and Skopje, Dr. Kiro Stojanov, and to all Catholic believers.
He wishes them good health, peace, harmony and happiness.
"Allow me, on behalf of the MPs and on my personal behalf, to wish you and all Catholic believers a blessed and holy Easter. May these days of celebration bring peace and love to every home, to every heart. Religious holidays and their celebration unite us and remind us that spiritual peace, love and respect for all are the real values we should fight for and promote," says Mitreski in his greeting.
Mitreski notes that all of us, regardless of which religion we belong to, must have and should fight for a common goal, which is a better life and a prosperous future for us and for future generations to come. According to him, this can only be achieved with respect for diversity, regardless of ethnicity and religion.
