MoH: 32 percent of adult population received at least one vaccine dose
Skopje, 10 August 2021 (MIA) – The Ministry of Health (MoH) said Tuesday the vaccination process is continuous across the country, without an appointment, highlighting that 32 percent of the adult population in North Macedonia has already received one vaccine dose. The interest for vaccination is on the rise. There are sufficient vaccine quantities and we urge the population to get inoculated so that we prevent the spread of the new virus variant, says the Ministry. Gevgelija registers the highest percentage of vaccinated adults (51 percent), followed by Kavadarci (50.3), Ohrid (48.1), Negotino (47.9), Bitola (46.3), Resen (46.7), Berovo (44.1), Shtip (43.1), Pehchevo (43), Valandovo (40.5). Demir Hisar, Veles, Sveti Nikole, Kochani, Delchevo, Kriva Palanka, Prilep, Krushevo, Skopje and Probishtip have a vaccination range between 30 and 40 percent, while Kichevo, Vinica, Kumanovo, Kratovo, Debar, Struga, Makedonski Brod, Strumica, Tetovo and Radovish between 20 and 30 percent. Gostivar has registered the lowest percentage at 19.9, adds the Ministry.
