COVID-19: 66 new cases, 66 recoveries, no deaths in past three days
Skopje, 24 October 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia registered 66 new COVID-19 infections after 722 tests were conducted over the past three days (October 21-23), no deaths were reported, while 66 patients recovered, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
Of the new cases, 47 were recorded in Skopje, followed by Prilep – 7, Bitola – 3, Kumanovo – 2, Gostivar – 2, Strumica – 2, Kavadarci – 1, Veles – 1, and Makedonski Brod – 1.
There are 284 active cases nationwide. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has performed a total of 2,180,374 tests, recording 343,916 COVID-19 cases and 334,073 recoveries. The death toll stands at 9,559.
