Vankovska presents election platform to Centar, Kisela Voda voters

Skopje, 15 April 2024 (MIA) — Election day will be a non-business day only for the public administration, which is unfair to workers in the private sector whose employers may stop them from voting, according to Levica presidential candidate Biljana Vankovska during her meetings with Centar and Kisela Voda residents on Monday.

According to her, this is discrimination against those voters, because people who work in Skopje and vote in their hometowns would not be able to exercise their voting rights.

In presenting her election platform to locals, Vankovska reiterated her firm position on terminating three agreements. Absent a public debate between presidential candidates, she said, they needed to meet people on the street to present their election platforms.

"Levica and I will do everything we can to make our platform accessible to every single citizen. It is obvious that my opponents are afraid of having a debate, which is more and more likely not happening. It is a shame for democracy," Vankovska said. mr/
