Skopje, 13 May 2025 (MIA) - Ruling party VMRO-DPMNE's executive committee is set to convene on Tuesday evening to discuss the Alliance for Albanians’ (AA) departure from the government coalition. The party said so far there has been no talk of exchanging ministerial posts.
“We dismiss reports of any talks about any form of exchange of ministerial posts or departments, or about who will take over the Health Ministry. This is not true,” VMRO-DPMNE's central committee member Valentin Manasievski said.
Regarding AA leader Arben Taravari, Manasievski said “no one should think they can be a part of the Government while also sitting in the embraces of the crimes of SDSM and DUI”.
Following a meeting in Tetovo on Tuesday, Arben Taravari’s bloc of the Alliance for Albanians said it is leaving the Government and moving to the opposition.
