Belgrade, 25 March 2025 (MIA) — Two people injured in the Kochani nightclub fire receiving medical treatment at the University Clinical Center in Nish have been transferred to its clinic for plastic surgery and burns while the patient with the most severe injuries remains in the intensive care unit, MIA's correspondent in Belgrade reports.
The two patients are 18 and 24 years old and "their health condition is stable," according to hospital sources. They had first been admitted to the Nish Military Hospital and then transferred to the Clinical Center.
"The 45-year-old woman, who is the most severely injured patient from the fire in Macedonia hospitalized at the University Clinical Center in Nish, is still in the intensive care unit," the hospital sources said.
She is in a stable postoperative condition and is breathing on her own, after being detached from a mechanical ventilator.
"She is conscious. She still cannot speak, but is communicative," the hospital sources said. mr/
