Skopje, 15 June 2024 (MIA) - At the invitation of Swiss Confederation President Viola Amher, President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova is taking part at the Ukraine Peace Summit in the Burgenstock resort on June 15-16.

Siljanovska Davkova will address the summit and meet with several participants on the meeting sidelines, the President's Office said in a press release.

The gathering aims to serve as a forum for high-level dialogue on the ways to achieve comprehensive, just and permanent peace for Ukraine in line with international law and the UN Charter, to promote common understanding on the possible framework in reaching this goal, and define a roadmap on how to involve both parties in a future peace process.

The conference, held at Ukraine's initiative, brings together high-level representatives from about 100 countries and international organizations, with discussions focusing on various issues, including wheat export from Ukraine, security of Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, which is under Russian control, and humanitarian issues such as exchange of prisoners of war.
