Skopje, 25 June 2024 (MIA) - Parliament adopted Tuesday amendments to the Law on Energy aimed at preventing the prices of electricity for households and small consumers from rising as of July 1.

The amendments were adopted with 84 votes in favor.

The bill amending the law is expected to ensure a safe, secure and continued supply of electricity to households and small consumers.

Earlier on Tuesday, the amendments were greenlit by Parliament’s Committee on Economic Affairs, Labor and Energy Policy and the Legislative Committee.
