PM Mickoski says Government is stable, expects continued cooperation with Vlen

Skopje, 21 May 2025 (MIA) - The Government is stable, it has a near two-thirds majority in the Parliament, and I expect that we continue with Vlen after the exit of the health minister, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Wednesday.

Asked about which officials from the ranks of the Alliance of Albanians bloc led by former health minister Arben Taravari would continue in Vlen, Mickoski said these issues are "strategic" and would be further discussed.

"Local elections are coming and we need to look at the broader context, it is not that simple. What is important is that the Government is stable, strong, it has a near two-thirds majority in the Parliament and I expect that we continue with Vlen after the exit of the former health minister, who has, regretfully, changed his rhetoric and is now in the arms of those who criminalized the society for more than two decades," said Mickoski.

On Taravari's meeting with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, the PM said he knew it would take place, assuming that regional developments and closer bilateral cooperation were discussed.
