Skopje, 16 April 2023 (MIA) — Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj sent his best wishes on Easter to all Orthodox believers.

"The memory of Christ's resurrection is the foundation of the Christian faith, which binds us to unite around true, forward-looking values and urges to show care and solidarity in fulfilling our duties," Marichikj wrote.

He added that the Easter message of renewal and life should be an incentive to come together for the European future and progress of the country.

"Let us rejoice," Marichikj wrote, "in the victory of life over death and light over darkness and good over evil, which imbue our existence with meaning and strengthen our faith and hope. Happy Easter!" mr/
