KSS: Public sector should work from nine to three to save on power
Skopje, 5 September 2022 (MIA) - The Confederation of Free Trade Unions (KSS) proposes that the public sector should cut its workday by 2 hours and finish at 3 pm, when there is the most amount of daylight and warmth during the day, as a measure to save power. Blagoja Ralpovsi, KSS president, said on Monday that the power saved from public institutions should be given to the business sector and the public communal enterprises to prevent bigger price shocks. "The public sector can work two hours less, which would save more power. Teams can be formed to service necessary jobs during the course of a day," Ralpovski said. dk/ba/
