Skopje, 9 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Energy, Mining and Minerals Sanja Bozhinovska met Tuesday with French Ambassador to North Macedonia Cyrille Baumgartner, concurring that France's experience as one of the leading countries in the European Union in the field of energy, decarbonization and green transition can be very significant for the country.

Interlocutors agreed on more intensive cooperation and exchange of views and experience with French experts in the field of energy, reads the press release. 

Bozhinovska stressed openness to French investments in the energy sector, given the presence of French companies in the Western Balkans. 

In addition, participants in the meeting raised issues from the aspect of bilateral economic relations, reaffirming willingness for more substantial talks with the aim of concretizing cooperation in the period ahead.
