Skopje, 15 February 2024 (MIA) – Caretaker Prime Minister, Talat Xhaferi, will be taking part Feb. 16-18 in the 60th Munich Security Conference (MSC).
During the three-day conference, Prime Minister Xhaferi will attend several central and side events, as well as hold several bilateral meetings, the government said in a press release.
The central theme of this year's Munich Security Conference will focus on Europe’s role in security and defense, with a particular emphasis on the significance of EU enlargement in light of the situations in Ukraine and the events in the Middle East.
Prime Minister Xhaferi will address these and other pressing issues relevant to the Republic of North Macedonia and the region during the bilateral meetings with high-ranking political representatives from Europe, the region, and the world.
The Munich Security Conference embraces a comprehensive definition of security, which encompasses not only traditional national or military security, but also takes into account – among others – the economic, environmental and human dimensions of security.
The MSC 2024 will once again offer a unique opportunity for high-level debates on the world’s most pressing security challenges.
