Bosilevo, 28 March 2024 (MIA) – A total of three people have been detained in connection with the murder of a doctor in Skopje, said Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski on Thursday.
“Based on my information, one more individual has been detained, so there are a total of three people detained. The search was carried out late in the evening, and other activities in the investigation are continuing in order to identify what happened, once we have additional information we will inform the public,” Toshkovski said.
In an online podcast on Wednesday evening, Toshkovski said there are suspects in the murder case, as well as certain material evidence that points to the suspects. He said that over 50 surveillance cameras have been checked as part of the investigation.
The Minister said that based on initial findings, the motive for the murder is not connected to the profession of the victim.
A sixty-seven-year old doctor was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his vehicle last week. He was found by his sons who started looking for him after he did not return home from work.
