SCPC to cooperate with competent authorities after its president marked as suspect in 'Additive' case

Skopje, 25 April 2025 (MIA) - The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) said Friday it will continue to operate within its jurisdiction and in line with the Law on preventing corruption and conflict of interest, after its president Tatjana Dimitrovska was marked as a suspect in the "Additive" case due to disclosure of an official secret.

As an institution, we remain transparent, open to the public and for cooperation with competent authorities, the SCPC said in a press release.

Dimitrovska is not allowed to have any contact with cases, mail or any documents related to SCPC's operations, cannot vote and assign cases.

Yesterday, the Skopje-based Criminal Court approved the motion by the Public Prosecutor's Office (PPO) for precautionary measures against Dimitrovska, which include seizure of her passport and ban to perform certain job tasks related to the crime.

Two other individuals are also added to the list of suspects in the "Additive" case, which relates to the abuse of procedures and money laundering in the procurement of coal additives for Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM), with 31 individuals and five legal entities already indicted.
