Tabanovce border police detain Palestinian with fake Romanian ID

Skopje, 16 March 2024 (MIA) — Border police at the Tabanovce border crossing with Serbia on Friday at 3 pm apprehended a 43-year-old Palestinian man who tried to enter the country with a fake Romanian ID, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release.
"Police officers have taken into custody F.K.B. (43), who said he was from Palestine, after during passport control and inspection he had handed them a Romanian identity card, which was found to be forged," the release said.
The person was taken to the Kumanovo police station. mr/
