Skopje, 26 October 2023 (MIA) – The measure capping the prices of products until November 30 is an excellent measure which is producing results and it has the support of consumers, the data and analysis that we have regarding its implementation are showing that there is room for the measure to be extended until the end of the year in order to avoid disruptions in the market in December when there is increased consumption, said Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi in a media statement Thursday.

“At today’s event we will have a chance to openly and transparently discuss this with the economic chambers and stakeholders. We expect to receive suggestions over how to improve the measure and focus them on reducing prices. According to the current data and analysis, the measure will likely be extended until the end of the year,” said Bekteshi before the beginning of the 9th FMCG Summit.
